It is stacked, and I used two pieces of #6 welding glass held up to the lens plus my normal UV filter.

How did you go about accomplishing this? This is really fascinating, but is it photoshopped or did you take pictures over the course of so many hours and then layer it? I am not trying to pick, but I am genuinely curious.

This actually took course over less than an hour. I left my tripod in the same spot and layered the exposures. Each exposure was about five minutes apart.

no by the looks of it, it was the actually eclipse. The moon in front of the sun made those slivers of light.
